Dishing In

With all the busyness aside, I've been having a chaotic but eventful past couple of days. School is still as demanding as ever -- I knew being a Literature major would involve mounds of papers and thick readings, but I didn't exactly anticipate just how frequent it would be required of me -- and my late-night dance training still leaves me often hungry and too tired to do school work, but it is extremely exciting knowing that in a matter of days, the dance concert that my company (the La Salle Dance Company-Street) has been working on will finally pull through!

It's going to be a great and new show this year. We have three full shows -- one on the 4th of February and two on the 5th, with the second day having one full show just for a partnership organization that focuses on street children. How exciting, right? I haven't been able to experience an outreach with LSDC-Street yet and I really can't wait to see what everyone can do!

Speaking of excitement, the newest batch of Prospective Executive Board (PEBS) members took our qualifying exam yesterday, which will determine if we will be able to run for next school year's Executive Board for LSDC-Street. It feels like just yesterday that the batch above mine was doing just that! I can't wait to see what the results will be like.
