Busy Busy, Dizzy // Fridate // DD6

I feel horrible for having been M.I.A. from blogging for the longest time! My academic-plus-social-plus-dancing life has been eating up all of my time; not that I don't enjoy it -- I really do. I wouldn't be do anything else! Just a quickie update on my life, so far:

My Literature major subjects come in the form of killer, inches-thick readings and Carpal Tunnel-originating writing exercises. I'm slowly -- albeit, ungracefully -- adapting into the Literature world, having had attended a poetry reading featuring renowned poets/authors Isagani R. Cruz and Marjorie Evasco and actually enjoying a play, the latest one entitled Lysistrata by Greek philosopher, Aristophanes.

Preparations for Danz Dish 6 are coming together! LSDC-Street has been training everyday since 2011 began and I am really starting to feel the concert season already. Last year's Danz Dish 5 was an incredibly fun experience because the group was so united, and even though this year's team didn't seem like family at the beginning of the year, the whole day training sessions continue to bring us closer together. "Sneaker conditioning" and boys rolling around on skateboards and scooters (those of which belong to our props section for the concert) have been making the rehearsal hall and a much livelier place.

Which is why I am inviting you all to catch Danz Dish 6!

The La Salle Dance Company brings you Danz Dish 6, our annual dance concert happening on February 4 & 5, 2011 at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, DLSU-Manila. Gates open at 7:00 pm and the show starts promptly at 7:30 pm! You can purchase your tickets in the LSDC-Street booth in DLSU or contact any LSDC-Street member near you!

Tickets at:
Orchestra - P200
Balcony A - P180
Balcony B - P150

I hope to see you there! It's going to be a great show :)

Despite the fact that we trained 'til late last night, my boyfriend and I decided to enjoy a night out, since he would be working on his thesis today. We ended up going to Fridays at High Street, which was fortunately still open at 11:00 pm!

Amazing dinner and really fun night :)

So I have been so busy that I haven't been able to update my online garage sale, Garage Brand lately! I will be fixing up the site and making everything more organized with better pictures (and better models), for sure! Stay tuned for more details.
