Lessons from The Social Network

As you may have noticed (or not), I have deleted quite a number of my previous entries. You may be curious as to the reason behind it, but let's just say that after watching the inspiring achievements of Mark Zuckerberg in this season's cinematic hit "The Social Network", that everything published online is and forever will be online.

Hence, the proper disposal of the entries that were an exposition to way too many details that included my personal life (i.e. pictures of loved ones, hate notes, vanity lookbooks, and the like) that I realized I would much rather keep to myself. Instead, this blog will serve for a main purpose: to be read. I know what you are thinking: tacky and irrelevant.

Well, so what? Go make your own blog!

I realized that detailing my weekend style was such a lurid form of self-assurance and a vain attempt at becoming known in the fashion world. I could do the latter in the privacy of my own home or even in outside matters, that would no longer need documentation unless a hefty Fendi bag was in talks.

Instead, my accounts on interestingly real experiences by yours truly would be readily available. Artistic photographs (rare at the moment until, hopefully, I get the present I want from Santa) and detailed encounters with both hilarious and influential people will also become important topics in my entries. And, lastly, since I am proud to announce my acceptance into my majors at the Literature Department in DLSU, personal creative works will also be published.

If this bores you, go away. My words should only be read by the willing and open-minded, and I sincerely hope that is you.
