Let me begin by saying that I will be posting, daily, a photo diary of the different places around France and England that my family visited. We had the most amazing tour group in France thanks to Trafalgar Tours. Not only did we meet new people, but we were also able to really get to know them and even keep in touch afterwards. People from all over the world were a part of our tour group, and while my family has gone on various tour groups before, we have never had a group who has stuck with us in memory this much. Our closest friends on the trip were three different generations of women from Mexico, namely Vicky (the grandmother), Quetta (the aunt), and Chio (the granddaughter). Other interesting people we met were three middle-aged friends from Canada by the names of Diane, Betty, and Judy, three very interesting women who laughed heartily at everything and who reminded me dearly of my best friends Mandi and Casey.
I think when one travels around the world, it is always best to find people you can associate yourselves with as fellow tourists. Sharing stories, relating to experiences, and trying new things together are what add to the already beautiful sites you will see together. My French experience was memorable not only because of the things we saw, but also because of the people I saw them with.
Keep updated on my daily entries! I will do my best to update each day about the different locations we visited.
