Lasallians everywhere. Green & white, DLSU logos, stars, and all kinds of school spirit signs on everyone's shirts. Cute little archer hats with a feather on it. The Yuchengco Building lit up in different colors and bands playing and dancers performing in front of it. Waking up extremely early and dancing 'Live It Up' (the Centennial dance) on Unang Hirit, GMA. Everybody dancing 'Live It Up' in unison!
Alumni celebrities everywhere. LSDC-Street performances and collaborative performances with LSDC-Contemporary and the Animo Squad at the Amphitheater Dance & Band Concert and Isang Daan Sangandaan Centennial Show at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium. Dancing back-up to Frencheska Farr (Party Pilipinas) and Gab Valenciano. Watching the brilliant, minutes-long Pyro Olympic exhibition atop the Yuchengco building and being in so much awe. Watching floating lanterns being lit up in the SPS Building.
Random spin-the-bottle dance cypher with alumni members. Pictures galore! Singing the alma mater. The entire campus JAM-PACKED with guests and students alike. Singing all sorts of La Salle songs. Getting stuck in double-parked hell outside La Salle. Moments with friends, teammates and dancers all at once. THE ANIMO.
I am so privileged to have been a part of the DLSU Centennial Celebration. The school spirit was EVERYWHERE (and still is)!
