My weekend was spent on two things: dancing (which is a given, since that is all I do) and movies.
The dancing part rested on what LSDC calls
PRs (performance requests) that were, painstakingly, given to the Crissa girls. We had two performances at the
Asia Pacific College (APC)'s dance concert on Friday night, the 11th of February, and a guest performance x judging opportunity at the
La Salle Greenhills Kabihasnan Fair the night after. I never fail to enjoy every opportunity to perform with those girls, no matter how horrible the management of the certain events can be, since we always find a way to entertain ourselves.

For the movies part of my weekend, I spent late last night basking in the cinematography, not to mention cringing at the gory self-surgical scene, of
127 Hours, a true-to-life story (starring the ever-smoldering James Franco) about a "canyoner"'s misadventures that caused him the removal of his arm. It is an intense but brilliant film that lasts for a brief hour, but is enough to get you squirming in your seat. My boyfriend was in awe of even the bloodiest scenes, while I was looking around at the back of the cinema, at the others just like me who were covering their faces and squealing shamelessly.

Today, my younger sister and I watched
Tangled. I haven't had the opportunity to watch a Disney film in a while, and despite my nasal discomforts, I decided to catch it even as it was in 3D. It is one of the best movies I have seen so far this year. Mandy Moore voices Rapunzel, and she is brilliant at it. Every line and scene in the movie was witty and charming, updated but never straying from being entertaining to the kids. The songs were wonderful, as well! Being the crybaby that I am, I teared up a bit, but I'm sure that anyone (even the macho men) would melt at the heartwarming story of the "girl with the magical hair."
