Realizations

I've recently realized that I've been so lazy to keep track of what's been going on in my life for the past year. So many good things have been happening to me, and it seems like such a waste to not record them. Pictures aren't enough, since not all events are captured on camera. Lugging around massive video cameras doesn't seem ideal for parties that require five-inch hooker heels. And the secret document "blog" I've created doesn't seem interesting enough to want to go look back on.

Here I am, 19 years old, and still writing to save my life. I can't stop, especially when I'm In the Zone. I'd been blogging on LiveJournal since grade school, probably, since handwritten journals tire me out after awhile, especially when I have to write about really exciting things.

For a brief overview (for my future self's sake), I am currently in my 2nd year of college at De La Salle University-Manila. I never really imagined myself going to such a school, since its reputation of taking in almost all of its applicants wasn't too enticing for me at the time we were required to apply for colleges. But right now, I am having so much fun -- even with all the school work. I am an active member of the La Salle Dance Company-Street, and was recently appointed as the Costume Head for the SY '10-11, as well as a newly resectioned Marketing Committee Member. Despite the stress, fatigue, and knee pains, I'm happy and doing well.

Also, I am in a happy and committed relationship -- something I'd never pictured myself to be in, since I had waited two long, gruesome years after my last broken relationship. No need to blog about the suckiness of that relationship, since I'm really happy right now. More on the boyfriend at a later time :P

Right now? It's the one-week term break of DLSU, after the tiring but seemingly brief first trimester of this school year. Competition season hasn't even begun, yet I'm already wiped out.

I shall blog about my recent accomplishment as soon as I find time! Off to bed :)
