Christmas will always be the best part of my year (aside from the new experiences and championships), because everybody seems to be unusually happy during the Christmas season. The lights and trees are up everywhere you go, be it in a salon or on the roads, and the malls are more packed than usual with people scurrying to buy the best gifts they think their loved ones deserve.
Aside from the material side of Christmas, the best part about the season is reuniting with people whom you rarely get to spend time with during the year. Christmas parties pour in left and right and there is always the superficial struggle about deciding what you have left to wear to these things, but the upside is finally seeing old friends and family whom you used to see on a daily basis.
I am grateful for the presents I received this year, but I am more grateful for the people I had the chance to talk to and catch up on everything with. I hope everybody around the world had this great of a blessing as I had! There is nothing like being with friends and family to the end the year right :)
