My title refers to stress. ANYWAY.
What an unbelievable past couple of weeks it has been! I haven't even been able to blog about my team's championship and to promote La Salle Dance Company's recently concluded dance event. But for everything I'd been through this past week -- managing to balance work for my executive board and really difficult academic work -- I will be forever and ever grateful and blessed.

Last November 12, 2011 my team, the La Salle Dance Company-Street (LSDC-Street) took part in the nation's most awaited and largest hip hop competition, the Skechers Street Dance Battle Year 7, at the Araneta Coliseum. We had worked long and hard nights and managed to balance school and admin work along with our artistic duties, but in all, the results were a complete and total blessing.
On the eve of November 12, 2011, LSDC-Street was crowned the CHAMPIONS of the Skechers 7 competition. It was UNBELIEVABLE. I had dreamed for a long time now to be able to get the chance to dance with my team and compete at the big dome, and to have done it for the first time (and with so many of my loved ones in the audience in full support) and to have WON... wow, I am still not over it.
I have so much gratitude in my heart for everyone, including my friends and family who beat traffic just to watch me in a 5-minute routine, for the support! It was more than a blessing having had them in the audience to witness our victory :) I am also so happy about the friends, who always complain about not seeing me enough, who came all the way to Araneta and cheered 'til they lost their voices -- especially my friends from different schools who became Lasallian supporters for a day. I love you Ina, Mandi, Casey, Alexi, Mads, Yama and Maria! So happy that Mandi blogged about it also HERE :)
The team I danced with was the best gift! We were composed of people who had the same humor, laughed a lot during training, and truly experienced the best with each other. What an honor to dance with just some of the amazing people I know!
