Esquire Launch

I don't normally blog about events, but the one I attended last night was particularly special. Renowned men's fashion magazine, Esquire, launched its Philippine edition last night at the Rigodon Ballroom, Manila Peninsula Hotel. 'Twas indeed a fancy night of ball gowns, wine, and glamour. Celebrities littered the room and despite the initial heat, I was happy to have some from my circle of friends present to celebrate the night. I particularly enjoyed my night with one of my best friends in the world, Mandi.

And of course, we had to end the night by letting go of our self consciousness and introducing ourselves to great fashion icons that the Philippines has to offer! Just a couple from the night:

And I with my prom designer (whose vest I wore throughout the event, which was also a part of my prom dress in 2008!), the lovely Kate Torralba. I was pleased when she told me I made her night, for wearing her design after almost four years!
